Duncan Park Golf Course is a traditional style course featuring narrow fairways and small greens winding through a virgin hardwood forest. The fairways are enhanced by an abundancy of azaleas, dogwoods, and half a century old crepe myrtles. Also included in the course is the largest Shumard Oak tree in the United States, located on hole 3. Spanish moss droops from almost every limb of the countless oak trees on the course. Duncan Park's signature hole (hole 6) is a captivating attraction and contribution to the course. In addition to a picturesque course, Duncan Park features a practice range and golf shop. Duncan Park Golf Course is a public facility and tourists are welcome to play.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6,017 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,766 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 14, a par-5 that plays to 519 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 6, a par-3 that plays to 163 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 17, a 404 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Duncan Park Golf Club is # 16, a 342 yard par-4.
